id11 Foundation is an initiative set up by visual artists Astrid Moors and Rolina Nell, filmmaker Ruud Bakker and Paul Giesen. id11 set off their plan towards starting a residency with the project Het Tijdelijk Verblijf (-temporary stay). Three ordinary houses in Delft are available for artists to live and work. The third house will be used for temporary exhibitions and projects. The temporary residences are directly available until they will be demolished in September 2008. The minimum duration of stay in the a.i.r. houses is one month. Costs: 100 Euro. In the third house artists are invited to develop new work in relation with the neighborhood through June, July and August 2008. Including monthly presentations!
August 28 Expert meeting - starting up a residency in Delft
August 29 Opening of the exhibition Here and There in Bacinol. Former artists -in-resident will present the work they made as a result of a residency working period in The Netherlands or abroad. The exhibition runs until August 31.
August 30 Presentations by artists about their experiences abroad, work and the possibilities of artist-in-residency.
