Pépinières: Applications for MAP 2010-2011 Open Now!
The map programme, initiated by the Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes, has offered a wide range of artistic mobility concepts sustained by several partner structures in Europe and Québec for 9 years. This year new residencies opportunities are offered that allow young artists building new plural projects and meet new audiences.
- Only artists between 18 and 35 are eligible.

AiR Celeia International Curatorial Residency Program
CCA CELEIA (Center for Contemporary Arts Celeia Celje) offers an opportunity for an individual curator to visit Celje to research contemporary visual art produced in Slovenia and to build contacts with local artists/curators and galleries. The selected individual will develop an international curatorial project with the CCA CELEIA being the host venue for the show in 2011.

Magaio Voicescapes. The rural voice: sacrality, leisure and work
Binaural has launched a call for application for art projects centred in the human voice, which work with issues such as the origin, meaning and relationship with the sacred (reconnected to its ancestral meaning of mystery and symbol), the voice as a pivotal element of rituals, customs and superstitions, able to enchant the listener and bring deep changes to the reality, to the communities and territory, the voice as the protagonist of memories, myths, archetypes, folk wisdom handed down through the centuries, or even the voice of everyday, tool for work and life. 15 art projects will be selected to be developed in a series of artist residencies that will take place between May and October 2011 in interaction with the context of each of the 15 rural villages of the Gralheira mountain region in Portugal.- Deadline: September 30
Bolu Artist Residency
Bolu Artist Residency programme is a residency organized by AmongOtherThings. It will take place in October 2010 followed by an exhibition in Istanbul, which will consist of the works produced during this two weeks time. The residency aims to bring together emerging artists from various cultures and provide a working and living environment which will allow artists to interact with each other and with the members of AmongOtherThings. 
- The residency will take place in a 31 acre ranch area beside the forests of West Black Sea region

Winnipeg Cultural Capital of Canada 2010 Public Art Call-to-Artists
The Winnipeg Arts Council invites professional artists to submit expressions of interest for a permanent, contemporary artwork using elements of water and light in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This is a national and international competition for a major artwork to mark the designation of Winnipeg as the Cultural Capital of Canada for 2010. Winnipeg's Public Art Program includes permanent installations in several locations in Winnipeg, a unique community art initiative and an artist-in-residence component.

switch: Call for Artists
switch shows contemporary works of moving image, selected through open submission to a particular theme. switch is now issuing an open call to artists working with film, lens based work and moving image to submit work responding to: 'the scale of things'. switch is a temporary public intervention that shows contemporary visual art in a public context. 8 artworks will be shown in 8 vacant spaces in a town centre for one week.

ArtResideRUS
There are only a few artist-in-residence opportunities in Russia. But the potential is huge. This became clear during an important symposium - Artist in Residence: Tourism? Culture? Gentrification?- which took place at Senezh and Moscow, 14 - 17 June, 2010. The aim was to brainstorm on the artist-in-residence potential in Russia and to create a network for information exchange and support of Russian artist-in-residence opportunities. From Vladivostok to Volgograd, from Sotchi up to Petrozavodsk representatives of residency initiatives gathered and created the new Russian artist-in-residence network: ArtResideRUS.
