Canadian Film Centre established The Feature Film Project (the FFP) in the summer of 1992 as a programme dedicated to overseeing and providing 100% of the financing and mentorship needed for the successful development, production and marketing of low-budget dramatic feature films for first-time filmmakers.

The objective of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation is to promote, by charitable activities carried on by the Foundation, an appreciation of the traditional expression in painting, drawing, sculpture and the graphic arts, by aiding worthy art students, artists or sculptors who need further training or other assistance during their formative years.

US artists will have a chance to promote their works-in-progress and works-to-be when the nonprofit arts organization Creative Capital Grants in visual arts and film/video accepts proposals for its 2007 grant cycle supporting projects in the visual arts and film/video.

Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts is a not-for-profit charity which provides international grant-making and operating programs to help visual artists develop their careers and achieve financial self-sufficiency.

Since its inception in 1963, the mission of the Foundation for Contemporary Arts has been to encourage, sponsor, and promote innovative work in the arts created and presented by individuals, groups, and organizations. Through a nomination process, individual artists and organizations working in dance, music/sound, theater/performance art, poetry and the visual arts are awarded unrestricted grants for projects of their own choosing.

Nathan Cummings Foundation programs include arts and culture; the environment; health; interprogram initiatives for social and economic justice; and the Jewish life and values/contemplative practice programs.

New York Foundation for The Arts launged SOS, a project in collaboration with arts councils and cultural organizations across New York State, designed to help individual artists of all disciplines take advantage of unique opportunities that will significantly benefit their work or career development.

Franklin Furnace Fund awards grants between $2,000 and $5,000 to performance artists, allowing them to produce major works anywhere in the State of New York. Artists from all areas of the world are invited to apply.

National Endowment for the Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts, both new and established; bringing the arts to all Americans; and providing leadership in arts education.
