Prix Ars Electronica
Since 1987, the Prix Ars Electronica has served as an interdisciplinary platform for everyone who uses the computer as a universal medium for implementing and designing their creative projects at the interface of art, technology and society. The event calls for entries in seven categories, including a youth competition.

Workspace 10 Project Competition
WORKSPACE is the annual project competition through which ZAAL5, the Filmhuis' platform for media arts, seeks out talented filmmakers and artists working with film, new (interactive) media, video installations, performance and visuals. To participate in WORKSPACE 10, you need to submit a project plan for a site-specific installation with moving image, suited to ZAAL5. A professional jury will select two winners who are each awarded an amount of 9000 and who will have ZAAL5 at their disposal for four weeks to realise and present their projects. After that, the winning projects will go on tour around the Netherlands.

Miniprint Finland 2010
Graphic Artist Association of Lahti and Lahti Art Museum are inviting artists to participate in the 7th International Miniprint Finland 2010 miniature graphics triennial. Motif and the methods of the printed artworks are free. Only the size of the prints is restricted: 17 x 20 cm maximum, and in case printed on 3-dimensional material, the depth can reach 5 cm.
