Description
Ne'na Contemporary Artspace is a platform for international artists to negotiate the traditional and contemporary art and culture of Thailand through their work. The aim is to develop Ne'na Contemporary Artspace as a space for creativity and to support contemporary artists in establishing and developing their work.
Technical Information
Washing machine, fax, copy machine, computers are available at Monfai's office. Some basic tools can be borrowed, however visiting artists are responsible for providing their own tools and materials
Studio Information
Self-contained open plan studio and living space, approximately 60m2, with good natural and artificial light. It encompasses a small kitchen equipped with cooking facilities, a private bathroom and bedroom, internet connection, TV and furniture.
Paid by artist
Rental charges are currently set at Baht 20.000 per month (approx. 400 euro), which includes studio, gallery/exhibition space, studio assistance, local transport.
Location
The Ne'na Contemporary Art Space Residency Program operates through the facilities of the Monfai Cultural Center in Chiangmai.

Application Criteria
Contemporary visual artists pursuing an innovative practice in a professional capacity are eligible to apply.
