Description

The artists' run initiative 'Het Wilde Weten' offers accommodation in a former monastery, by invitation or on application. Artists may use the large exhibition space and the adjacent guest room for three months. During the residency period these spaces can serve as a place for meetings, exchange and public events. 'Het Wilde Weten' feels the need to remain close to the creation of images and to work and thought processes. The intention is not to initiate, compile and organize exhibitions and projects as such. 'Het Wilde Weten' concentrates on what is actually taking place in the studio in order to identify those stages in the work process which might give rise to a program or a project.
