Description
The Greatmore Studios, established by Trustees Robert Loder and Isky Gordon, grew out of the Triangle Artists workshop, which originated in New York and included Thupelo Cape Town. Since that time, workshops based on the Triangle model have been established on a continuing basis in twenty different countries where over 1700 artists have participated. The Greatmore Studios Project has been set up in response to a need by the Art Community of Cape Town. They will function as the third studio in a network, which includes the Fordsberg Artists Studios 'Bagfactory' in Johannesburg, and 'Gasworks' in London.
