Accommodation Information
Combined with studio. Studio rooms with private bath, central heating but no airconditioning. Studio 4 x 4 meters, light and equipped with easels, work tables and access to water. There are no art materials. Laundry facilities.

Accommodation. Board, food, etc. Three meals are served each day. Breakfast and lunch can be taken either in the studio or in the dining room. Residents meet for dinner that is served either in the dining room or in the patio.

Location
The village of Mojacar, with a population of over two thousand, sits on top of a hill in the Sierra Cabrera mountain range, two kilometers from the beach. The steep, narrow streets and architecture are reminiscent of the Moorish occupation many hundreds of years ago. Today there are shops, banks, offices, restaurants and bars in Mojácar as well as in the nearby villages of Garrucha, Turre and Vera. Fundación Valparaiso is situated high in the valley, surrounded by the almond and olive groves, at the foot of Mojácar La Vieja, now an archaeological site. The surrounding valley is crisscrossed by rural roads and trails, and the region is a hikers paradise. Airport (45 min.), Train Station (45 min.). Buses, Cars, Motto and Bicycles can be rented. There is local bus service, the nearest stop being 2 km from the retreat.
