Description
Since 1988, Cemeti Art House has been exhibiting and communicating the works of both Indonesian and foreign contemporary artists. At least eleven exhibition projects have been organised each year, including solo exhibitions, group exhibitions with performances, site specific and happening art, discussions, slide presentations, and artists talks. Since 2006, Cemeti Art House opened the residency program LANDING SOON. During each residency period of three months, artists are 'landing' in Yogyakarta. The local as well as the global are researched through different themes, visions and conditions.
