Description
The Art Residence is designed to provide environment and conditions for independently working artists to experience new situation, which gives opportunity for building personal creative capacity. They will be invited to work interdisciplinary. The Residence in Tchamla Kingdom creates conditions for artists to come out of the frame of their everyday activities and to experience environment, which provokes spontaneity and leads to creative process.

Board and food. Resident artists will be accommodated in separate houses within the village. Facilities for self-catering and food provided like linens, working materials and bikes provided.
Location
Tchamla is a village in the south part of Rhodopes mountain, the village itself was abandoned in 1986. 180 inhabitants from fourteen big families lived there and 30 houses were built from 1912 - 1986, in the last 16 years all houses were ruined. Since June, 2002 members of Destination Bulgaria Foundation has inhabited the building of the local school and started a circle of events.
