Description
Acclaimed as the world's ceramics holy land, this Campus is anchored with a dragon kiln, whose wood-fire has lasted for 500 years. It is the most long-lived and best preserved ancient dragon kiln, which has been declared by the State Council as the national treasure, and listed in Guinness World Records. It is a symbol of human wisdom in the pottery-making history. Nanfeng Ancient Kiln Campus is in the process of integrating, developing and renovating a multitude of diverse properties with different ownership into an eco-friendly and cultural rich complex. It shall cover an area of close to 700,000 square meters with over 800,000 square meters of constructed space.
The Campus is designated by Foshan Creative Industry Park as its education base. It has opened up itself to over 20 higher education institutions nationally and internationally, allowing them to use its facilities for artistically oriented hands on instruction as well as creative education and business training. Through the Creative Academy, its educational arm, FCIP has been promoting both Industrial Creativity training and traditional Chinese culture education.
