My studio is a 10 minute bike ride from home, it's a smallish room (that locks) in a large building filled with over 50 artists of all disciplines. My studio is shared by three other jewellers. We each have our own bench, and you could use mine for your practice.
I would be ready to swap around April or May 2011, for 2 or 3 months. I would keep paying my rent, and you would pay yours.

Great studio (90m2) in artist run warehouse building and funky apartment in London SE1 (near the river) for 1 or 2 months December-January 2010/11
I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in London and I'm looking for a studio exchange to experience, and get inspired by a new culture for a short time.
My studio is large, bright and well equipped with various tools for all sorts of production, from wood and metal to digital and photographic.
The apartment is small but very comfortable - there's just one bedroom so it would suit a couple. Any more might be a squeeze but it is possible to sleep at the studio where there are also some limited cooking facilities but no shower. The apartment is unsuitable for pets and there is no smoking indoors (there is a communal roof-terrace if you have to).
It is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment to the studio, the area is very lively and has a great art scene with the Tate Modern and Hayward galleries in walking distance along with many smaller galleries, studio complexes, theatres and other arts venues. It is a short ride both to the 'West End' with it's wealth of high-end entertainments and to the more edgy East London scene.
I'd like to exchange (I pay my rent - you pay yours) with someone who has both a space to live and a space to work, either a single space or two separate spaces. It's not necessary to compare on a like-for-like basis i.e. please don't be put off if you have a smaller studio or whatever - I can adapt my work to fit the space.

M name is David Lehman. I am a student at the Piet Zwart Institute in the Masters Fine Arts programme.
I am returning to Canada for the summer and am trying to find a kind soul to sublet my studio live in/work in space for the months of July, August and September.
I live with two lovely soon-to-be graduated Piet Zwart Masters students, Jay and Derek (super chefs)
in a huge apartment in the south of Rotterdam on Bloemfonteinstraat (a great Wednesday and Saturday market a stones throw out the window). We all have large studio spaces that we utilize for art making. (And we recently hosted the most recent LP Hendriks Gallery exhibition in our studios).
My side of the apartment has a bedroom, a big studio space, and a kitchen (currently used as workspace and storage).
A bed, a cactus, lots of work tables...even a trusty bicycle.
There is a big shared living room and dining room (where we host film screenings), two balconies, and lots of windows with the sun pouring in when it pours.
It is extremely quiet and is a ten minute bicycle ride over the Erasmus bridge to the city center.
It is 360 Euros a month including utilities.
If anyone knows of someone who may be interested I would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this along.
